Payclipper Loan Program Update
Just over a month ago, Energy Credit Union proudly launched the Payclipper Home Upgrade Loan Program, and in that short time, we’ve already seen remarkable engagement from our members.
Here’s What We’ve Accomplished So Far
- Fast Processing: All incoming applications have been reviewed and pre-qualified the same business day if received by 1 PM—or by the next business day if submitted later.
- Strong Member Support: Payclipper Program Coordinators and our Loan Officers have maintained a high level of communication, providing clear contractor matches and in-depth guidance on how members can best utilize the program.
- Quick Contractor Response: All contractors within the Payclipper Network have responded within 24 hours and scheduled on-site visits within 48 hours of member contact.

In several cases, we’ve been able to offer low-rate HELOCs alongside 0% Payclipper loans for larger projects. Additionally, we’ve helped members cover project costs that exceed Mass Save HEAT Loan limits by using Payclipper Loan to bridge the gap.
